Earth Day has been observed on April 22 every year since 1970. In honor of our beautiful planet, I have posted some favorites from my personal collection of nature inspired photos. We are so excited about our new studio! Val and Kimberly put a lease on a building behind the gallery in July. They have put so much time and hard work into it, and we are so excited to be using it for sessions! It is still going through some changes – Valerie is currently working on a cool textured wall. We also have a room that we use for our special edition sets – more info on the current set coming soon! The studio is located at 802 Sophia St. behind the old Cards n Cones. We now have our own parking space by the studio, which is awesome! We all know how frustrating it is to find parking in downtown, so it’s nice not to have to worry about that.
The weather was gorgeous today, so Kim and I took the opportunity to take some photos of our new space. The outdoor shots turned out really well, because the sun was shining and the sky was so beautifully blue! We also got some great shots inside the studio. It was so much fun using some of the many props that we have!

Hi everyone! My name is Brooke Ramsey. I am the new Experience Manager at Love of Life Photography (Kendall is still working on Saturdays!). I am so excited about everything going on here, especially the fact that Val and Kimberly are training me to be a photographer. It has been so much fun going on shoots with them and watching them interact with all of the fun clients! Going along with them on the outside shoots has been great, as I am becoming familiar with all of the wonderful locations that downtown Fredericksburg has to offer. I absolutely love the fall, so I’m really excited for the colors and weather to change – it will be awesome for outdoor sessions!
Last Monday, September 8th, we celebrated Love of Life’s one year anniversary! We had a wonderful time and thank all of you for all of your well-wishes! Hope you enjoy these snapshots of some of the guests and our birthday cake – sorry, we didn’t do the smashed cake photo op
