I am SO excited about the makeover our Portrait Parties are getting! While we will still offer our traditional Portrait Parties that we’ve done in the past, we will now offer new themed parties, as well! These will be great for birthday parties, reunions, girls’ (or guys’!) night out, and more! Each party features both individual and group shots. Host the party at home or in studio! Here are a few of the themes you can choose from (feel free to suggest your own unique theme, as well!)
Kids’ Parties:
Pretty in Pink – little girls love to dress up! What would be more fun than a dress-up party? Girls can wear their girliest, frilliest outfits and add all sorts of accessories! Feather boas, sparkly scarfs, high heels, jewelry, etc. Take it a step further and have a Pretty Princess party with princess hats or tiaras, wands, and of course, a Frog Prince!
Pajama Party – everyone loves a pajama party! Kick yours off with a fun photo shoot of everyone in their pj’s! Bring favorite blankets, stuffed animals, snacks, and a movie, for a fun-filled evening before everyone goes to sleep.
Sports N Stuff – boys and girls both enjoy sports, and many are on teams. Get together a few friends or the whole team and have a fun sports themed portrait party! Bring team uniforms, favorite jerseys, sports memorabilia, and equipment. We can take photos of the kids playing a game and posed portraits, as well!
Sweet Treats – for a fun celebration, choose the portrait party with tasty treats! Everyone loves the photo of the baby smashing the cake… Now, turn it into a party! Cakes, cupcakes, candy, piñatas, ice cream… whatever you and your child would prefer! Choose a color theme for the sweets and try to coordinate outfits for extra sweet portraits!
Mommy & Me – Gather your Mommy friends and their little ones, and have a play-date! We’ll do the rest 
Superheros! – Are your kids into Superman, Spiderman, Batman, etc? Bring their costumes or themed pajamas, and let them have a blast pretending to save the world as we catch them in the act!
Tea Party – dress up your little girls in lovely dresses, with shiny shoes and flowery hats, and we’ll provide a table and chairs with a tea set. Bring in little scones and sweets for treats, and dolls and stuffed animals to use as “guests”.
Tween/Teen Parties:
Make Me Over – Let the girls do each others’ hair and makeup, have a Mary Kay party, or hire a professional makeup artist to come along. This party can be a great self-esteem booster and is always lots of FUN! We can do before and after photos, or just some glamour portraits as the girls have been made over! Make it a spa-like atmosphere with fruit and veggie trays, cucumber or lemon water, sparkling cider, face masks, manicures, pedicures, candles, and relaxing music. Then, crank up the fun dance tunes during their shoot! We can even set up a catwalk for the girls to strut their stuff! Karaoke machine and cd’s can be provided for the evening.
Facebook Fotoshoot – everyone is on Facebook these days, and one of the favorite aspects is being able to share all of your photos with friends and family. Of course you want to look your best, so gather a group of friends, and come in for a casual photoshoot that reflects your personality! Websized images available to order just to use online, with your order of prints.
Adult Parties:
Fun n Flirty – Get your gal pals together and have an evening of flirty photos that you can keep for yourself or use for gifts for your boyfriend or husband. Not everyone feels comfortable with a full-out boudoir shoot, so wear what makes you feel comfortable and sexy! Pretty pajamas, a sexy sweater, or a cute little dress is all you need. Dress it up with makeup, hair, and heels – or go all natural with minimum makeup and barefeet. We can do these in-studio or in your own home! Make it extra personal by doing the shoot in your own bedroom or bringing a bedroom suite into an area the whole party can use. Pop open a bottle of wine or sparkling cider and play some music to get you in the right mood for the shoot!
Family Reunion – Have family coming to visit? This party is great for summertime when everyone is on vacation and the kids are out of school, or around the holidays when the family gets together. We can do large extended family photos and individual family photos. These photographs are perfect to use to send out with holiday cards or to design your own!
Wine & Cheese – Have a night out with friends and enjoy an evening of fun while taking advantage of our portrait party pricing. Provide wine and cheese for everyone, or have each guest bring something to share. You can enjoy this party on a summer evening in your own backyard, at your favorite vineyard in the fall, or in the comfort of your own home on a chilly evening during the holidays. Our gallery is open for the event, as well!
Pet Parties:
Furry Friend Fotos – Have a furry member of your family that you would love to have professional photos of? We can take portraits of you and your family with your pet, and photos of your furry friend on his/her own. Make it a party by inviting all of your animal loving friends to do the same! We can go to your home to photograph your pets in their favorite spots around the house, or bring them in to do photos in-studio or downtown! We can go to a park or down by the river – whatever you choose!
About our parties:
Feel free to provide snacks and drinks for your party. If you don’t have time to plan those details yourself, we can have it all set up for you for an extra fee. We do have some music in our studio, but you can always bring your own, if you have something particular you’d like to hear! Let us know what your musical preferences are, and if you’d like, bring in your CD’s ahead of time and we will make a playlist for your party. Not all accessories/costumes and props are supplied. Please, inquire about what we have on hand and what you need to bring. Parties can be hosted indoor or out, depending on the weather, time of day, and the look that you’re going for. Our gallery and studio are open to host these parties, or we can come to your home or venue of choice. Ask about goodie bags, print credits, personalized invitations, and special portrait party pricing.
